anyway, those are the pics.. got kicked out of LAX the 2nd night because of.... well... yeh... good times.. never gotten kicked out for that reason before. but that makes it 2 clubs ive been kicked out of in vegas.
on the way back to LAX, since we partied all night long and didnt get back to the hotel till about 8am, my flight being 930am... i went to the airport, fell asleep at my gate... woke up 2 hours later, was lucky enough to catch a flight out at 12.
this trip tore me up like never before. crazy thing is, during the day time all we did was chill at the pool.. but the night time activities which i cannot mention killed me. may have knocked a few months off my lifespan...

beijing olympics... phelps is a beast, the opening ceremony was beyond sick... that is one display of why you dont fuck with china. they have enough man power to do anything!
but the reason why ive been so M.I.A. lately is because of the new girl in my life. my brother and his wife's first child... the first generation of CHANs... my brother is the oldest in our generation, and im the 2nd.. and we dont really see any more kids coming from our generation any time soon... soo.. yep... shes so cute!
ive gone back up to norcal quite often the past few months... and if you dont see me in October, its because i'll be in norcal on the weekends to visit my niece.
but i also went to Vegas and NYC... thats why no one saw me on the weekends.... im working on a video or 2 just to practice up on my skills... so that might be why its taking so long to post pics up... i might just post the pics first, and post the video later... i havent decided yet.
oh yeh.. my car finally hit 100,000 miles... bought May 1, 1999.... not bad not bad.... lookin to buy a mini now... but might wait till the 2010 refresh, because i really cant stomach spending $40K on a car with a cheap interior...

on another note, DAMMIT I WANT THESE SHOES!!! the Nike Hyperdunks "Marty McFly" edition... its basically kobe's shoe, with teh colors from the back to the future shoes.... theyre going to be released tomorrow at the Undefeated store in santa monica for $240, comes with a tshirt.. but only 100 pairs at that location, and only 500 will be made in total... 4pm! theres no fucking way i can beat those college kids with disposable income and unlimited time... dammit why do i have a job???

well... celebrated dOmo's bday... his bday is actually the same as mine... hehe... i wonder whhhhhy....
anyway, dont recall much from my birthday. the brain completely stopped recording around 12 or so. this is only the 3rd time in my life that ive blanked out. people said i was perfectly fine at the end of the night, and got in drew's car just fine... so thats what im like when im drunk???? anyway, didnt drink at all the next 14 days after bc i was scared to drink.
lakers lost... that sucked.. portugal lost.. that sucked... lewis hamilton didnt win the french GP.. that sucked... but at least Spain won Euro 2008. Fabregas is too awesome not to have won at least one title right?
OH.... so after work last week, i get home, park my car... and all of a sudden a million cop cars rush by my apt and screech to a halt right outside... and a shitload of helicopters too!
they completely blocked all ALL roads and intersections.. it freakin sucked.. i wasnt allowed to get my car out to meet people for dinner. apparently, a group of ppl shot and killed a person in the area, and were on the loose in the neighborhood.... it was full of drama bc one of the helicopters, while flying over to search for the suspects had mechanical problems and had to do an emergency landing on top of a roof near my apt... apparently, i live in the ghettos...
aside from that, not much going on... shit loads of stuff to do at work... slowly lookin for.. OH.. actually, one more thing! so george had a firm event, where his client had an appreciation day for their company and their audit team, so he invited me on a thursday to watch the horse races at hollywood park all you can eat, paid for buffet... on a workday... meeting some people for a firm i may possibly cross over to soon... not too shabby of a day at all... but yeh... im about to quit my job and join a public accounting firm... assuming someone wants to hire me... which shouldnt be too hard seeing all you lovely people work at the firms and will hook me up anyway.. hehe... dont worry, you can keep the majority of the referral bonus... all i ask is for a mastros dinner.
except here are the tickets that did not win me any money at all... its actually pretty damn fun to go horse racing, because its REALLY cheap... you can bet as low as $1-$2 per race... and you can do all these other styles of bets... i picked the correct horse 2 times in a row, but too bad i didnt bet those races... the odds were 15:1 and 10:1... dammit... BUT there was this one thing called PICK-6, where on the races 2-8, you have to pick the correct winner of all 6 races... its $2 to play, and if you hit the jackpot, the earnings were close to $3 million... yeh... we got 4 our of the 6... DAMMIT .... soooo close.. if we got 5 out of 6, you still get like $40-50K!!!! all from $2!!! i gotta go more often... while intoxicated....
MUSIC!!!... lil wayne's CD is DAMN good... i was so amazed when it first leaked.. ive been listening to that CD on rotation with lupe's the COOL and kanye's GRADUATION.. those are my staples at work. Then the BET awards on tv was dope as always... i swear thats the best award show these days.. its pretty much all performances, and the awards dont really matter... its the best concert ever...
and speaking of best concert ever, did any of you catch GLASTONBURY 2008?? its a music festival over in the UK.. and this year, it was BADASS... i mustve watched that stream a million times already. jay-z's set is absolutely the best live rap performance ever... i dont get why they cant have sets like taht in the US... all concerts outside of the US are so much better because of the larger crowds, and bigger stages.. just so sick.. jay-z is for sure still the king... so much better than Kanye's glow in teh dark tour... its on a completely different level!
